Inspired by David Hockneys “Joiners”, for my final piece I created a lifesize portrait of my dad with over 40 A4 images transferred onto fabric using an iron. In one hand he holds his diary which is spilling out the entries by his feet, accompanied by this walking stick in the other hand. The tapestry is over 7 feet in height and was worked on for roughly 2-3 weeks.
